Job Description:
The associate buyer will assist in selecting merchandise and negotiating prices for the Living Room Furniture area within the Home & Garden department. The associate buyer reviews incoming offers to ensure quality and selection meet requirements, communicates with vendors, coordinates receiving schedules, and follows through with moving the product to the website. The associate buyer also monitors daily sales, reviews prices and margins, identifies and develops new vendors and partners and monitors competitor’s websites to ensure lowest pricing. Effective product assortment planning and new product development are a key component of this position.
Requirements: The ideal candidate must possess solid written/ verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and computer proficiency. Employee will adapt to changes in job requirements, learning and applying new skills as needed to ensure the company’s success. He or she must be very thorough, detail-oriented, and organized, with good communication skills. 2-3 years experience in Buying or as a Sales Representative in the furniture field is ideal. Must have excellent attention to detail, superior Excel skills, and knowledge of brands and trends in the industry; College degree preferred.

Parallel HR Solutions is looking to secure an experienced Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer for our client who supports a large Veterans Affairs Department Task Order. We need a very analytical QA test engineer with experience testing medical software or similar applications.
Responsibilities Include:
• Serve as a primary source for patients’ legal medical records
• Enable generation of clinical reports based on the entire clinical holdings of the VA
• Serve as a platform for new and reengineered HeV applications
• Serve as a platform for patient self-access to medical records
• Support standardization among DoD and other government and private industry clinical databases through the creation of a standards-based database
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
• Bachelors Degree
• 8+ years if experience performing software development
• Follow approved executive directives, SOPs, and guidance documents in support of development and SQA activities.

• Monitor Stage One through Stage Three SQA activities to ensure that they are completed to the level of detail agreed to by the project manager prior to the start of software design.
• Execute testing as specified in the master test plan and ensure that all findings and test inci¬dences are reported.
• Perform SQA activities in the course of the soft¬ware development to ensure compliance with all executive directives, SOPs, guidance documents, and the TPWG All OI Test Process documents.
• Be able to create test ideas and test cases based on requirements and design documents.
DETAILS:
• Hourly: $40-50/hour DOE (negotiable)
• Status: W2 or 1099 (negotiable)
