Search Selection and Screening
Stage I – Gathering the Requirements
This is the most important part of the search process. We cannot find what we do not understand. Our detailed process is built to get inside your head for uncovering what you really need in the person you are hiring and then build a profile that accurately describes that person from top to bottom.
- Conduct a complete needs analysis that will provide us with all pertinent information required to complete a professional search. Includes brainstorming on how to attract candidates from your top competitors.
- Build a profile of the ideal candidate against which to screen potentials. If desired, interview your top-performing employees as part of the profiling process.
- Assemble the project team and begin marketplace research. Examine direct and indirect competitors and identify additional companies that employ candidates possessing the skills you seek.
- Complete review and revise the list of targeted companies and candidates.
Create a pre-screen interview that uncovers details not readily evident in a resume to address your specific needs. Submit the prescreen interview with the resume.
Determine if a video interview is required as part of the screening process and set the parameters.
