The platform offers on-demand content as well as personalized, live classes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with teachers who are all native English speakers. Students enjoy a unique, practical and fun learning experience that caters to their own schedule and pace.

Today, the company offers its online English classes to over 100,000 students all over Latin America – including Brazil – and to the Spanish-speaking community in the United States. Offices are located in Miami, Bogota, Sao Paulo, Caracas and Buenos Aires.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute an SEM roadmap aligning team goals to business objectives and improving keyword generation, bid optimization, landing page resolution and testing, ad text testing, campaign  management and reporting tools
  • Manage a  high-performance  team  of SEM Analysts and all related vendor relationships to create, implement, track, analyze and optimize paid search campaigns in Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, Bing, and other search engines
  • Lead daily and weekly reporting meetings for Senior Management, including communicating key metrics, goal attainment and optimization opportunities
  • Utilize successful bidding strategies and effective keyword management on pay-per-click search engines to hit target acquisitions volume goals and efficiency metrics (CPA, CPL)
  • Provide detailed analysis of key metrics and program tracking techniques in order to increase overall search performance efficiency
  • Actively test and analyze keywords, copy and landing pages to increase ROI and drive incremental volume
  • Provide consistent and effective support to Senior Management on forecasting and new business opportunities
  • Grow our SEM traffic and conversions while reducing costs
  • Data mine for anomalies, break points and opportunities
  • Support broader PPC and acquisition efforts
  • Collaborate with Sales and the Product and PMO teams to define site instrumentation, media attribution models, lifetime value models and media mix analysis and optimization

Qualifications:

  • Must be based in Coconut Grove, FL office and work authorization in the U.S. is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years in SEM and PPC for a leading consumer-facing e-commerce or technology company
  • Deep knowledge of SEM including optimizing account / campaign / ad group taxonomy; keyword discovery and  bid  management;  creative optimization
  • Successful track record managing 100’s of thousands of keywords, and similar sized monthly dollar spend
  • Deep experience leveraging site analytics programs for SEM analysis / insights (Google Analytics etc.)
  • Advanced Experience in working in and managing bid optimization platforms
  • Great influence, partnering, and collaboration skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills – including expertise in Excel, SQL and statistical analysis
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Extraordinary mix of quantitative & creative skills
  • Sense of humor; Fun to work with
