Parallel HR is looking for a highly skilled Oracle QA engineer to provide enterprise-wide, Oracle eBusiness suite testing support.  Candidates should have at least 3 years professional experience with all aspects of the QA process in an Oracle applications environment.  We value intelligence, creativity, quality, technical leadership, and a strong interest to learn.

The ideal candidate must have:

- Oracle Applications release 11i and/or release 12 development experience

- Functional experience with Core Financial, OM, HR, Self-Service modules

- Fluency in all testing types, techniques, and their values: White/Black box, boundary, unit, component, integration, system, UI, manual, exploratory, acceptance, regression, load, performance, etc.

- Solid experience developing test scripts, test plans and performing code review

- Experience with QTP Automation/testing and other testing software (Selenium/Webdriver)

- Working knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, defect management, quantitative methods, risk management and measurement programs

- The ability to build clear, concise, and complete test-related documentation

- Good judgment in weighing the forces involved in determining software readiness

- Solid SQL and PL/SQL skills

- Self motivation and interest in continual learning

And possess many of the following:

- Experience with Subversion (SVN) or other source code management tools.

- Be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision

- Basic understanding of software development practices

- Automation and regression system implementation experience

- AIX experience running scripts and copying files

- Strong knowledge of IT standards and procedures

- Java coding experience for test automation

Other abilities we would like are:

- Familiarity with Jira or other bug tracking software

- Experience in an agile/scrum environment
